Wine locker cost calculator: what running it by hand costs you
We've filled in a typical mid-size program. Change the numbers to yours and watch the total move.
How we count it
Only staff time
The total is hours multiplied by your hourly rate, nothing else. No software cost, no lost bottles, no member who didn't renew. It's the floor, not the ceiling.
The hours nobody sees
These hours never show up on one line. They're eight minutes here and four minutes there, across a dozen shifts. Added up, they're usually a month of somebody's year.
What happens to them
With bevSavvy, members get their locker by email every month, a bottle is logged with a label scan, and the audit becomes a walk with your phone.
Common questions
Are the starting numbers realistic?
They're what we see at a mid-size program: forty lockers, a dozen questions a week, thirty bottles moving, two audits a year. That comes to a little over 200 hours. Yours will differ, which is why every number can be changed.
Does bevSavvy bring this to zero?
No. You still receive bottles and you still pull them. What goes away is the looking-up, the re-typing, and most of the audit. Clubs usually tell us the questions stop first.
How long does it take to switch?
About a week, and most of it is ours. Here's what setup week looks like.
